AI writes code faster than anyone can read it. Every team just inherited the same problem: output exploded, and verification didn’t.
The industry’s answer is another AI reading the diff and nodding along. One opinion checking another opinion. We think that’s a coin flip wearing a lab coat.
Fusion’s answer is older than software: competition, blind judgment, and receipts. Rivals build. A jury verifies. Dissent stays on the record. Nothing ships on charisma.
We don’t ask you to trust AI. We don’t even ask you to trust us. We ask you to trust proof, and we print it.

01 / operating principles
What we refuse to bend.
Not values. Rules: specific enough that a receipt can prove we broke one.
Closed craft, open proof.
The receipt layer is documented and inspectable by anyone. The craft behind it stays ours.
The gate can’t be sweet-talked.
Deterministic checks outrank confident claims. Tests are restored from baseline, run by the gate itself, and pinned.
Dissent is data.
A 2–1 verdict with reasons beats a unanimous shrug. Smoothing disagreement away is how bad code gets confident.
Failed runs are free.
We charge when the Definition of Good is met, not when the meter spins. Our incentives sit on your side of the table.
Never round confidence up.
A theory is labeled a theory. A split stays a split. Verified means the evidence ran: nothing more, nothing less.
Fusion never presses the button.
Never merges, never ships, never force-pushes. It opens the door and steps back. The human decides.
02 / proof of the pudding
Fusion is built by Fusion.
Every substantial feature in Fusion shipped through its own tournaments: 47 runs and counting, receipts kept. 15 of the last 16 caught a defect a solo build would have shipped, including two that could have forged the Verified stamp itself. We eat the dog food. It’s why the dog food works.
03 / the fine print, volunteered
Every claim on this site has to survive this section.
We sell verification, so the limits belong beside the promise:
- Verified does not mean “proven correct.” Nothing honest can stamp that. It means the evidence ran, passed, and is pinned for you to inspect.
- Your tests set the ceiling. A thin suite means thin proof, and Fusion tells you so instead of pretending otherwise.
- Our dogfood numbers are self-run, on our own repository, with no control arm. Receipts available; judge them yourself.
- Anything honest enough to verify must be honest enough to fail closed. When evidence is missing, the stamp is withheld.
